How does the President travel?

If you’ve been lucky enough to see Air Force One landing or waiting at the airport, you probably took a photo, oooh and awwed over it and told your family and friends. It is exciting to see our Commander In Chief traveling or, at least, his airplane. Have you ever asked:  “How does the President travel?”

For President’s Day, I found a couple of articles that I find interesting. One shares some of the historic travel events our Presidents have taken.

Commander-in-Chief Travel:  Fun Facts for President’s Day  Written by Daniel McCarthy in TravelMarket Report.  I think you’ll find it interesting.  And, you may pick up several great tidbits for your next game of Trivia.

AirForce One! Wow!  It’s the Granddaddy of airplanes; it’s the superstar aircraft … and who wouldn’t want a look inside.  Jordyn Phelps wrote an article filled with photos of inside Air Force One.  Her article Air Force One:  10 Perks of Flying Like the President gives us an inside view and maybe, just maybe we can live vicariously for a little while.

Ok, you got a view inside, but you’re still hungry for a few more facts.  How about Air Force One straight from the White House

Enjoy President’s Day and remember anytime is a good time to go traveling.
