Destination: Costa Rica
on Star Clippers Sailings
Sailing on Star Clippers to Costa Rica with an amazing crew was an exciting adventure. Star Clippers cruises can take you out on the deep blue sea in one of their tall ships. The ship’s tall mast with sails is a special way to experience cruising. With the breeze on your face and a song in your heart as the wind pushes the wooden ship it’s truly the best way to experience the ocean.
I recently sailed on their namesake ship – Star Clipper along the coast of Costa Rica. We stopped in several ports, one to visit a National Park where Howler Monkeys and wildlife were in their natural habitat along the paths we hiked. Sandy shores with untouched beaches welcomed us for sunshine and relaxation.
The best part of cruising with Star Clippers is star gazing at night under the big sky, with moonlight glowing on the water’s surface. It is so relaxing and a great way to experience what it was like sailing the deep blue sea when sails were the only way to travel.
