St. Augustine

St. George Inn St. Augustine

If you’re a fan of historical, old-town charm, then you’ll definitely want to add St. George Inn to your bucket list. Located in the heart of St. Augustine’s historic district, St. George offers European-style accommodations that lie only steps away from some of Florida’s oldest and most important landmarks. And, in addition to its convenient location, the inn is also known for providing outstanding customer service, top-of-the-line amenities, and delicious complimentary breakfast. The winner of several notable awards, St. George Inn is the perfect place to base yourself as you explore the nation’s oldest city.

If you’re ready to plan a stay at the St. George Inn, be sure to read my hotel review below – I’ve even thrown in a few extra tips about the best things to do and see in St. Augustine! It’s all here ready for you to plan a getaway that’s perfect for a multigenerational family vacation.

European-Style Accommodations

Inspired by old-European charm, the accommodations at St. George are quaint, cozy, and comfortable. Here you’ll find a variety of room types ranging from double queen rooms to kings and large suites inclusive of full living spaces. Many of these rooms also feature incredible views and balconies that overlook the city, offering an unobstructed look at some of the area’s most famous landmarks, including the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument, the Castillo Plaza, the Bridge of Lions, and the Matanzas Inlet. In addition to this, all rooms come outfitted with complimentary Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, in-room refrigerators, and coffee-makers, as well as in-room Starbucks coffee, upon request.

Other amenities at the hotel include discounted parking, a complimentary coffee bar, and full access to the property’s courtyards. Guests are also provided with a complimentary a la carte breakfast that features several European-style pastries, including croissants, muffins, and bagels. Additional amenities can also be made available upon request if you are looking to add a little bit of luxury to your stay. These add-ons can include a bottle of wine, a charcuterie board, or a bouquet of flowers waiting in your room upon arrival. It’s the perfect way to surprise that special someone if you happen to be traveling on a romantic getaway!

Bin 39 Wine Bar

St. George Inn St. Augustine

Located in the lobby of the inn, you’ll find Bin 39, a wine bar that spills over into the adjacent courtyard. The menu here offers over 70 different types of wine, all of which are sold by the bottle or by glass. These wines are hand-picked by Bin 39 and hail from a wide variety of vineyards, including those located in Napa Valley and Sonoma County. Widely regarded to have the best glass menu in Northern Florida, Bin 39 is a favorite among guests and locals alike!

Private Events

The St. George Inn is also home to an intimate meeting space and adjoining outdoor patio area that is perfect for group gatherings. With the ability to accommodate groups of up to fifty people, the inn can host a variety of events, including corporate meetings, family reunions, bridal showers, rehearsal receptions, and more. You can even arrange for a private wine tasting event if you’re looking to further explore the drink offerings at Bin 39. In addition to this, you’ll be able to work with the on-site event manager to ensure that your event goes off without a hitch!
