- Food
- Food and water bowls
- Water for the drive
- Treats
- Favorite toys and chews
- Collar
- Leash
- Crate and dog seat belt, if used
- Medications
- Poop bags
- Cleaner and deodorizer like Nature’s Miracle
- Sheets and blankets to cover furniture
- Towel(s)
- Grooming tools
- Your vet’s phone number
- A list of local (to the area where you are traveling) vets, pet sitters, dog parks or dog-friendly parks, and dog-friendly businesses
