Destination: Germany UNESCO World Heritage Sites
Goslar, Lower Saxony and Saxony Anhalt

Germany UNESCO World Heritage Sites are located around Lower Saxony and Saxony Anhalt. History is preserved and sustainability is in full force.  This year my focus on travel has been learning more about history and especially learning more about how travel and sustainability can work together.

I have my own definition of how not only I define it but also how I experience the places I go. My definition:  Sustainable travel means finding a way to maintain tourism experiences for the long-term without harming natural and cultural environments. That means respecting and protecting the places we go, because they are home to the people who make our vacations fun and relaxing.  Sustainable travel should minimize any negative impacts and benefit the areas we love to visit, by highlighting the culture, traditions, people and history.

What is your definition?  Share it below in the comments.

I recently had a chance to visit the Lower Saxony and Saxony Anhalt area of Germany. Take a listen and learn about the Germany UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Goslar, Lower Saxony and Saxony Anhalt.
