The Rocky Mountaineer – Rockies to the Red Rocks is a journey through America’s most iconic scenery. From Moab, Utah to Denver, Colorado it is one of those very special getaways.  One that takes you to a place and space that you have been dreaming about for years….. and years.  A place that may have seems magical or somehow out of reach.

For many years I have loved from afar the magical shaped red rocks of the America West.  Wondering what would it feel like to walk among them and experience them in real life.

The Arches formed from years and years of the environment shaping them into magnificent forms that appear to defy gravity.  But, they are natural, not man made.

I had a chance to visit Arches National Park on a journey with The Rocky Mountaineer Rockies to the Red Rocks on their train journey from Moab Utah to Denver Colorado.  It was a spectacular journey.

Traveling from Moab to Denver you can explore the national parks and excursions around the area.  I visited Arches National Park, San Dune Arch Trail, Double Arch Trail, and over to Canyonlands National Park for a spectacular view of canyons for miles and miles.

You too can have this experience on The Rocky Mountaineer.  I share what I experienced as I travel along the route, talking with crew members and new friends from the Rocky Mountaineer – Rockies to the Red Rocks.
