My favorite app is Google Maps

Plug in your destination either address or name and this app does all the work for you.  It has gotten efficient with finding names of places even if you do not have an address for popular destinations and attractions.

Google Maps provides directions for walking, biking, bus, car – either mode of transportation. If there is bus service available it will indicate that as part of your results.

It calculates the fastest routes and alerts you to slow traffic, accidents and delays.  I like that it includes the amount of travel time and tells you what time you will arrive.  And, it accurate! Many destinations will also provide a photo of your destination too.

Tip – You can download your routing too – just in case you lose satellite reception during your drive.
