Roanoke Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains

Roanoke Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains is filled with everything that makes a destination become one of our favorites.  For the outdoor enthusiast it is America’s East Coast Mountain Biking Capital. With over 400 miles of trails for mountain biking, ranging from easy downhill rides to challenging cross country treks.

Roanoke’s outdoor experiences include hiking and checking out the Roanoke star on top of Mill Mountain. The Roanoke Star is an iconic symbol of Virginia’s Blue Ridge that overlooks the valley and mountains. Plan to go up for one of the most instagramable pictures that you can take.  At night, this large free-standing, illuminated star is the perfect spot for a photo. Roanoke is Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountain destination.

Roanoke is also home of the Black Dog Salvage – DIY Network show for 11 seasons as Salvage Dawgs.  You can go there, visit and of course buy too.
