Let’s go cruising to the Tahiti, French Polynesia and the South Pacific
Tahiti, French Polynesia, South Pacific……..If you ask anyone what’s their dream vacation you will most likely hear the islands of Tahiti, Bora Bora and Moorea are on their list. The islands of French Polynesia have long been known for their beauty both in landscape and the people. Paul Gauguin, the French artist, captured the beauty of the islands in his work. Marlon Brando, the actor who played in the movie Mutiny on the Bounty loved the area so much he fell in love with a Tahitian woman, moved to the area and started a family. He couldn’t leave the beautiful islands. And, when you visit, you’ll feel the same way.
December of 2017, Annita had a chance to visit the Society and Cook Islands in Tahiti. Beautiful! She said you need to be a poet to describe the true beauty of the lagoons, rugged mountains shooting up from the sea and the deep blue sea. It is definitely something special you’ll find in the South Pacific. The beauty of the people and the landscape.
Our show described several of the islands she had a chance to visit. Her trip was a dream come true because although she has travel around the world during her time with Pan American World Airways and now as the on-air personality, she always wanted to spend time in French Polynesia. There was no better way to do that but to travel on the luxurious and exceptional PG Cruises (Paul Gauguin). Annita said what is most captivating about sailing with PG Cruises is the attention to detail and the service. “When you’re sailing with PG Cruises, excellent service goes above and beyond … it’s actually more about feeling as though you are family. The crew calls you by name and several crew members actually remembered me from an earlier cruise and greeted me by my first name! They quickly learn your favorites – for breakfast, your beverages, your favorite table. Everything! It is truly a luxurious experience and affordable too!”
