There are many reasons to travel. On our latest show we talk about travel with a purpose – engage equality, justice and tolerance.
We start our conversation with author Cara Meredith writer, speaker and sought-after conversationalist. She is a former high school English teacher and non-profit outreach director, her writing has appeared in numerous print and online publications.
On the show we talk about her recently released book The Color of Life, a spiritual memoir about her journey into issues of justice, race, and privilege. Her journey as a white woman who is married to an African American man is filled with exploration and learning in a very personal experience.
Later in the show, I share several museums and exhibits which highlight civil rights, tolerance and equality in many areas; from race to religion to gender. Each place is great for more understanding. This show is offered with inspiration to travel with a purpose to learn more, engage more and do more to make inequality and injustice a thing of the past.
And for a road trip filled with exploration and engagement, you’ll need a great car. Chevrolet’s Blazer is perfect for a family road trip. Hear all about it and my visit to the Atlanta International Auto Show. In the first segment I share an interview with Kyle Suba – East Coast Communication Lead for Chevrolet and she describes all the features of the 2019 Blazer. With a focus on safety and style, the 2019 Blazer is ready to hit the road and take you and your family on a comfortable trip filled with exploration.
