It is Christmas time in Heidelberg. The five cobble-stone squares in the Old Town and “Germany’s most beautiful ice-rink” on the Karlsplatz set against the impressive setting of the Castle radiate with charm and lights. In the fairy-tale winter woods at the “Kornmarkt,” which is one of the squares, the Advent stroll is transformed into a sensual experience.
