Glamping – Camp in style & luxury

Blog Posts, Travel Blog | 1 comment

Enjoying the great outdoors and sleeping under the stars – now that’s living. And my favorite is sleeping under a full moon! There’s nothing like being one with nature. But you know, sleeping under the stars can have a bad rap. Building fire, pitching a tent, cooking over a campfire. Either it’s your style or it isn’t

Camping can have stress, hassles and a lot of work associated with enjoying time outside. It doesn’t have to be that way. Camping can be a luxury, glamorous experience. On our Favorite 2015 Travel Trends show, creative producer Nichole Roberts said “Glamping – is the new camping. Just add luxury amenities, comfy bed, excellent meals and you have combined camping and glamour! Glamping is trending in 2015!” She is right. Many people want to enjoy a night in a tent without pitching it or hauling it around.

We found the perfect solution and a great way to tour some of America’s most beautiful landscapes and Parks.

TerraVelo an all inclusive, luxury tour company is shaking up the camping world.  No longer do you need to worry about what to do or how to do it. They do it all for their guests, starting with pick up at the airport which starts your seven days of enchanting experiences. From breakfast with a juice bar filled will favorites and smoothies too you head out for hiking or biking tours.  If you are an experienced cyclist, you will enjoy heading out along your route. For guests new to cycling it all at your pace. The Wind through Zion National Park or the redwoods in California, you are headed for a day of beauty and spectacular sites.

The perfect tours for backpackers and hikers. You know the great feel of the sun on your face and the thrill of reaching the top of a mountain trail. You live for it and here’s your chance to focus on the fun. Water activities are there to enjoy too – whitewater rafting, surfing and fishing are perfect options at camp locations near the water, where you can enjoy

Doc Bill, who loves delicious meal – breakfast, lunch and dinner – has given two thumbs up to TerraVelo for their culinary experience.  Experience chefs create elegant meals three times a day – and yes, remember they are all included. Whether it in the dining tent or lunch for the road, each meal is designed to excite your taste buds.

“What about the tents?” is the number one question I am asked.  Your stay is in a luxury 12′ x 14′ canvas tent.  A memory-foam bed, fine linen, dresser and lamps create a comfortable experience. Showers are available in the transportable luxury bathroom with Bigelow toiletries and Turkish towels.

You will want to spend most of your time outside or in the lounge tent, where couches, chairs, tables, magazines and games are available for you to unwind and relax. Enjoy the wine bar in the evening with your excellent book.

David Levine and Rebecca Martin have created a guest-focused experience with special amenities too –  Sunrise yoga, in-camp masseuse, live music, astronomer, geologist, campfire and revelry; Housekeeping and laundry service too!

Are you ready to go? Easy to do and easy to book. Go to their website for more information and book your tour.

You may see Travel Bags With Annita on a bike or horseback riding. We are packed and ready to go!

I’ve never hear about the word Glampling, but it looks nice. I would love that kind of glamorous facilities, it is so different from conventional campsites.
