Maine and Sailing on the Victory Chimes

Visiting the beautiful state of Maine should be top of everyone’s list.  Sailing along the coastline is the perfect way to see the state and experience the natural beauty of the state.  But, you must start in Portland, where historic sites and traditions are still alive and full of life.  Stroll around Old Port and take in the sites on active docks bringing in seafood and providing it to the local restaurants serving tasty meals all day.  And, that does include Lobster Rolls.

Head down to Rockland where you can join the crew on  a cruise around the white pine woodlands.  Board the Victory Chimes and have the same experience Annita and Olivia had sailing with Capt. Kip Files.  On you way down, stop for a visit to the Pemaquid Lighthouse.  Both the lighthouse and the Victory Chimes ship are on the back of the Maine State Quarter.

Here’s the show below.  Take a listen and plan your visit to Maine.
