Destination: Family Vacation Planning – May 9, 2015

North Georgia’s News Talk AM 550 and FM 102.9 WDUN

From 1-2pm est

In the movie National Lampoon’s Vacation, Clark Griswold loaded the family in the 1960’s wood-paneled station wagon and headed west for a family vacation. Wife Ellen was ready to “just get there” and the children Rusty and Audrey were anxious to explore Walley World – America’s Favorite amusement park.

In the movie there were loads of mishaps along the way that made us laugh. But in real life we would be horrified. Just the words “family vacation” can put fear in the bravest of travelers. Planning a romantic get-away or a girlfriend’s trip has its own stresses – but family, means splitting time between adults, children and in many cases grandparents. The activities, interests and needs can differ greatly between ages and mobility.

The weather is warming up and schools are closing for summer. That means family vacations are hitting the calendar. On our next show we have destinations, tips and ways to plan for family vacation 2015. No stress this summer – we’ve got you covered!

Sharing their expertise will be three ladies who know travel!
